1. About this policy

AsianLaunch is a product discovery, launch, feedback, and market-testing platform operated as a project in the Micavo family. This policy applies when you visit AsianLaunch, create an account, publish a product, or use our related services.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, password hash, profile, product submissions and media, feedback, saved products, support actions, and newsletter or waitlist choices. If you use Google Sign-In, Google provides your basic profile, email address, and profile image.

We also collect product-page visits and Try actions, referral and campaign parameters (including UTM values), an anonymous session identifier, timestamps, and an approximate country code supplied by our network provider. AsianLaunch does not store your full IP address in its product analytics records, although infrastructure providers may process IP addresses and security logs to deliver and protect the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide accounts and launch pages; review and publish submissions; operate feedback, waitlists, saved products, and notifications; show founders aggregated visits, country, source, and Try analytics; communicate service or opted-in marketing updates; prevent abuse; and improve AsianLaunch.

4. When information is shared

If you deliberately join a product waitlist or request founder updates, your email address and related consent details may be shared with that product's founder. Founders receive aggregated performance analytics; we do not provide them with visitors' full IP addresses.

We may use hosting, database, storage, CDN/security, authentication, analytics, and email providers, including Google services. They process data for us under their own terms. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

5. Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies keep you signed in, protect forms, and maintain sessions. When configured, Google Analytics 4 may use cookies or similar technologies to measure site usage. You can limit analytics through browser controls or Google tools. Google Sign-In is optional and is governed by Google's privacy terms.

6. Retention and security

We keep information while your account or submission is active and as reasonably needed for service, security, backup, dispute, and legal purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You may update profile and product information, unsubscribe from marketing, or request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting us. Some records may be retained where legally or operationally necessary. Privacy rights vary by location, and we will respond as applicable.

8. International use, children, and changes

AsianLaunch serves an international audience, so information may be processed outside your country. The service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age required locally. We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
